2 months agoNicole was very excellent and pleasant.. very positive attitude and I enjoyed my dinner right before I fly out tomorrow morning. The New York strip steak was more tender than I expected and not to mention the crab cakes had so much crab in them and less mayonnaise and any other crab cake I've had. Bravo. Keep up the good work. Might have to have it when I fly back in. Thank you, Nicole

4 months agoI recently visited Tavolo 72 in Cleveland at the Crowne Plaza. While the food was okay, the service was truly exceptional. Our server, Diane, was incredibly courteous and provided the best service. She was also the only person on her shift today and did her best to make everyone feel comfortable. A special thank you to Diane for her outstanding efforts to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

9 months agoProbably the only positive aspect of one of the worst hotels I have personally stayed at. The food isn't anything to brag about, however it is also not bad.

a year agoThe wait was long but our waitress in training was excellent. She brought us extra bread with really yummy garlic butter. The food is really pretty decent for a hotel restaurant. I had a mushroom swiss burger that was very good. Loved the house made chips. My mom had the filet sandwich and she was extremely happy, meat was tender and flavorful.

2 years agoIn town for a business trip and a group of us came for dinner. First off our waitress Sandi was great! I enjoyed my flatbread & the sweet potato fries were really food! Mozzarella sticks were 6/10. Seemed like out of the group it was hit or miss with the food but they really liked their drinks lol.

2 years agoI was skeptical given the 3.9 rating on Google, but the food was actually really good, esp the flatbread with mushroom, Boursin, and onion. They also had a slew of seasonal specials from the new chef (who personally checked in), who got the reins a month ago. We had a salad with grilled peaches, blue cheese, candied pecans, fennel, and steak -- fantastic except the steak was a bit over (asked for med rare). To drink I had old-fashioneds, which were spot on. And the bread pudding was perhaps one of the best I've ever had -- generous portion and so flavorful, light, and spongy. The servers were very friendly/chatty, too.

3 years agoLocated in the Crowne Plaza hotel minutes from the Cleveland airport, I decided to try this in house location rather than go out as I had a later checkin and was a bit tired. Wait-staff were attentive and even offered suggestions for their menu, which I took. After a 20-25 minute wait I was told the suggested and ordered item was “sold out” for the evening 🥲so I placed another order which came out quickly. Additionally, they discounted my meal for my inconvenience by comp-ing one of my beverages from the bar (Kentucky bourbon barrel ale, which was tasty). Wrapped up the evening with a delicious lemon berry cake, also recommended by the waitress. Overall, convenient, good customer service, and good food if you’re in the area!

3 years agoExcellent restaurant and bar within the Crowne Plaza Hotel. I’ve eaten here many times on business stays at the hotel and the food has always been good. Try the bar as well. Very friendly service.
